FOURTEEN SLEEPS LEFT IN CANADA

That's right
Fourteen sleeps in our cozy  flannel covered bed before heading to the
 US of A
to the warmth of the
Arizona sun

Graham and his Dad went up the mountain to retrieve his trail camera

They walked 75 to 100 feet into the woods

Picking up the camera

They stopped by Rapnik Lake
Lots of tracks
Elk
Deer
Moose

Also a huge hornet's nest!

Iris......Jennifer's cat downstairs at the shack
Little photo of Joe and I taken Christmas 1963
Just became engaged!

Jen spent the week with us at the shack
We left her each night and slept up at the big house
She had 4 cats and 2 dogs to keep her company
Ha.....Gwendolyn came with us!

Iris seemed to be everywhere
Jen didn't think she ever slept

On the trail going up to Munson Mountain
This was a first for us .........

Beautiful pine tree
Whenever I look up it reminds me of a children's morning show
that our children watched
The giant would say......
Look up Look up
Lyndsay remembers..........
It was called
The Friendly Giant

View from Munson Mountain looking over to the city of Penticton

Looking up the lake towards Graham and Lyndsay's home

Interesting about sunsets
At the cottage between spring and fall we see the different spots where the sun sets

Saturday morning Papa Graham Ethan Garen and Granny went out to the SACA
The owl rehabilitation centre
Here we have burrowing owls

On the drive home Graham spotted Rocky Mountain Big Horns
Up the mountain road we went

Beau would have driven by the lake each day on his way to Osoyoos for hockey practice

A herd on the side of the mountain

A stop at Tickleberry's for ice cream

Strawberry and Mint Chocolate

This morning's view of the vineyard

In a few weeks we will be seeing this view

************
Just two photos of interest
(I think)

I sent a parcel to Beau in New Jersey
The lady at the post office had a fine time 'decorating' the parcel with
CANADIAN HOCKEY STAMPS

When I got out my down jacket I found this attached
Beau's hockey pin from 'way back when'
Beau said it had to have been at least 11 years ago that he received the pin
The pin will stay right where I put it!

HONORABLE CAT

Honorable Cat

I am Cat.
I am honorable.
I have pride.
I have dignity.
And I have a memory.
For I am older than you.
I am older than Gods; the Tree Gods, the Stone Gods,
the thunder and lightning and the Sun  Gods
And your God of love.
I too can love
But with only half a heart
And that I offer you.
Accept what I am able to give
For were I to give you all
I could not bear your inevitable treachery.

Let us remain honorable friends.
