VETERAN'S DAY AT GOLD CANYON

The grandchildren and their Mom

came out to the park today

IT'S FAMILY TIME

There was a Veteran's parade this morning

in the park

I heard them coming up the

 street but could not

grab my camera in time

Here you can see the

Canadian and American flag

that were attached to a golf cart

When the boy, his sister

and Mom arrived

we all went down to

the ball diamond

Does the boy get the ball?

Does his sister catch the ball?

Mom's up to bat

Taking a turn as pitcher

The Aunt wants to get back

into playing baseball

The bat and ball connected

It's such a beautiful sunny day

The ball is in the glove

A road runner was out in the field

chasing dragon flies

I tried to get close to it

but it would run away from me!

This plane made lots of noise

over the ball field

Where or where is it going?????

We took a break and went home for lunch

Next we were off to try our hand at

shuffle board

On the way over to the court

we passed the office where

flags flew along the walkway

in honour of the veterans

The boy is bugging his Mother

Boys never change!!!!!

Papa has arrived on the scene

On our way home I took a few

pics of the park

It looks just like the one we had a few years ago

In a matter of minutes the sky changed

This evening we attended a

Veteran's Day dinner
