HOCKEY IN CALIFORNIA

We first picked up

'the boy'

at school

Dropped him off at the Ice Den

where the hockey team gathered to

board the bus
for their trip to
Torrance California

We have a Grandma and Papa
A Granny
A Mom and Dad
and
A sister
along with suitcases

a snack bag

and

my favourite pillow that goes eveywhere with me

Evening sky as we drove toward California

Here's the Granny and grand daughter bunking down for the night

We brought along a queen air mattress

It was super comfy

The team waiting for the zamboni to

finish 'his' job

The rink is called

The Garden

A strange name for an ice rink

However

We had Maple Leaf Gardens

in Toronto

The coach's son playing with his

little hockey players

Waiting for players # 13 and # 25

to come out of the dressing room

Since the players travel together

we only get to see the boys

for a few minutes between games

SO

We make the most of it!!!!!!!

Seal Beach for dinner

We met Ethel the English Bull who is a rescue

and

Dora the French Bull who is in foster care

The owner told us there are 60 rescue English bulls

in southern California

(Georgette here is your chance!!!)

Lots of action around the net

With hockey bags on board

the boys are heading home

They tied the first game

Won the next two

Lost the final game 1 zip

A great three days of hockey lads
