Fat Man Pass

Another hiker coming through

Nothing shy about this little guy

Dan and Joe putting out their hand for Kathy
This little piece of rock was really slippery
A good slide

Not a good idea to slide without someone to catch you!!!!!

We're just about ready to walk through
a 'little' tunnel

Mr. South Dakota

Two of our hikers

Lyn of Wasaga Beach
Peter of Port Huron MI

From the top of South Mountain you can see the downtown area of Phoenix

Well................I must say
Ha...........
I thought I was in shape for hiking
Wrong......
After lunch I had a two hour nap
Joe and I went to the pool and hot tub
Felt much better after that
Later in the evening we visited with our friends
Bill and Jan from Corunna
They just arrived at noon
It was wonderful to see them!

Another good day

Tomorrow is another hike day
See how I feel after this one?????

  2. I really like your sunset photos. 6:15 for a hike & a sunrise photo? Good for you! Even with Stretch & Strength you were sore and aching from the hike, huh. Well that one is an obstacle course. Not as easy as Garden Loop. Good photos of my hubby!

  3. How I envy these hikes !! It's something I would really love. I love to walk as you know and doing this would be challenging . The scenery would also be second to none :) I can pretend via your incredible photos ! So I'll keep tagging along from my desk chair. lol Lots of love & hugs....share with our Gwennie.
