Our road trip continued ..........

Campsite outside Sacramento

Main reason for the California route was to have a visit with friends Marge and Rod

Marge set a lovely table

and

she cooked a delicious meal

Rod and Joe mapping out the route that would take us from their home to our Arizona home

Marge and Rod spent many years at Canyon Vistas park

This is where we met

Marge was my creative writing teacher

You know how sometimes people just click

Well....

We clicked

Marge had I had a walk about their property 

They planted this blue spruce

Now look!!!!!!!

The guys and Gwennie are patiently waiting while Marge and I have one last visit

Stephanie gave me 3 ripe bananas and asked if I would bake a banana loaf with chocolate chips
