I have my favourite books and special things that go with me from Ontario to British Columbia to Arizona

Today I was packing my books and picked up my poetry book that my friend Kathy had given me for my birthday in 1992

It is a very very lovely book

The handwritten book is about

All Creatures Great and Small

I sat down and looked at the poems

The Cat poem caught my eye!

Just thought I would share that with you!!!!!!!

Mardi Gras at Canyons Vistas

Wednesday morning we went on a hike with friends John and Jo

Some years ago Joe and I took Beau and Zoe on the same hike

It brought back great memories of a fun day with the grandkids

We were sitting in the 'bowling alley' when this gal appeared

I am thinking she went up to the Flat Iron

This was a first for me seeing a hiker in a skirt!

Two more sleeps in the house then we'll pull the airstream to  Stephanie and Rod's driveway where we'll stay until Monday, the 2nd of March

We had a text from Beau on Friday saying Kelsey was working for the day at

at Signal Butte near our home 

SO..........

We jumped in the truck and headed to

 IN-N-OUT

While talking to Beau on the phone I looked out the window and saw an Egret walking in the desert

Later in the day I saw these guys

HOLY COW

We were told these cows are rodeo cows??

What is going on out there in the desert

Sunday afternoon we took in the Arabian Horse Show
