IT'S SATURDAY
IT'S HOCKEY
IT'S GRANNY AND PAPA DRIVING
THE YOUNG BOY TO HIS GAME
IN PRINCETON BC
This should be called pumpkin corner
The two buildings are right across the road
from each other
Sure can't miss it!!!!!
It wouldn't be a BC highway
without coming up
to a logging truck
As you can see we are driving
through a mountain range
We are up and down
curving here and there
The boys are settled in their seats
Harry Potter is playing on the DVD
Being in the passanger seat I am enjoying
the scenery
UNTIL
The little boy all of a sudden
wants his Mommy
He up-chucks
He hurles
whatever you want to call it
It is a good thing Granny is still
agile enough to climb
into the back seat
to take care of the little boy
while Papa is still driving
We find a place to pull over
and a change of clothes is brought out
Away we go again
We're half way there
Up-chuck again
The 'hockey' boy is turning his body to the window
and making strange noises
He groans
He asks
Can I get out of the car????
Nope
YEAH
We made it
I found this to be quite a unique
drawing on the front of the arena
Here comes the zamboni with lights flashing
Note the guns!!!
What is it about zambonies
and little boys????
The game is about to begin
The young boy is taking his turn
at being the goalie
Waiting for action at his end of the rink
Here comes the player
I'm ready
Good save
The red team scores
clap, clap, clap
cheer, cheer, cheer
Good game
Tie 4 - 4
Little bro was back to his
'happy go lucky self!!!
The zamboni did his job again
He is back behind closed doors
Check out the painted cowboy on the door
This was definitley a
'personalized' hockey rink
We're on our way back home
The young boy opted to drive
with a hockey friend
Wonder why???
I spotted the ospry nest on the way to the rink
missed the shot then
This outdoor rink must be a fun place
for kids during the winter
Not a yellow VW
The tires are almost as big as the bettle
What's the story behind this VW????
Why is it sitting in a field???
IT'S GOOD TO BE BACK HOME AGAIN
The trip was uneventful
thanks to a half of a
children's gravol!!!!!
Another good story for our
memories!!
Funny story about your drive to the hockey game. Hope the van had a chance to air out! Love all the pictures, Dianne. Thanks for sharing what is happening up north. See you soon.
ReplyDeleteI think I would of been hurling with the young boy !! lol. I can certainly understand the older brother going back home with a friend, no offence. Look how agile Gwennie is with her back hips. Those are powerful thigh muscles she has there too !! Hug her for me....HARD !!
ReplyDeleteFunny! Now that you two are pros at Kiddie commuting, Carson could use a ride to the rink!
ReplyDeleteTake care,
Lisa
I'm surprised dad didn't get pukey himself. Can't wait for the day when we can all watch Ethan...we need some video! SB
