FINISHING UP 2013

CHRISTMAS DAY
A BIRTHDAY
AN AFTERNOON AT A RANCH
HIKING WITH THE GRAND CHILDREN

For the past nine years we have spent Christmas Eve with Stephanie  Rod  Beau  and Zoe
Early  Christmas morning at the Browning home

Check out the 'leg' lamp
Stephanie just had to have this lamp much to the dismay of her sister Jennifer!
The lamp is a 'fixture' from the movie
A Christmas Story

Time for a bit of cards

The Browning family arrived from Sarnia Christmas night
Stephanie and Rod's nephew Thomas is all set to open his present
Good ol' Gwennie is right there to check things out!

Ha.....One of Zoe's presents from her Aunt Carrie

Bat Man in a box!!!!!!!!!!!

All for the birthday girl
They made such a fuss!!!!!!
Sure warms the heart!!!!!!!!!!!

Grandma Elaine  Zoe and Aunt Carrie

A Mother and her daughter

Well...............
Something was funny
Looking at the photo
I can
HEAR
Stephanie giggling

Thomas drew a picture for me on the top of the box
I will frame the picture

HAPPY ME

Two of the loves of my life

Looks like the Tooth Fairy has visited Thomas

Cutie Pie

Beautiful roses from all the Brownings

On our way to a horse ranch
Do you see the bull in the back of the truck?
What do you bet there is a real one in the trailer

Hi There

Can you see where the face of the Arabian horse is shaved?
We later saw where the horse's full body is shaved but not where the saddle sits

Devonna grew up with horses
She was in 7th heaven!

I was taking it all in

What a beauty

Strutting

These people just brought their dogs along

Checking out what is going on

There were buckets filled with carrots
I took my turn at handing out carrots

The owners with their barn dogs
Photo time
I got in on the act
But
From the other side!

I took many photos to try and capture the horse's eye
I liked this one

Yesterday we hiked Freemont Saddle with Beau Zoe and Kelsey
It was a 4-1/2 mile hike
Elevation gain
1,370 feet

A picture says a thousand words
Coming from a man who doesn't 'express' himself too much
Papa Joe said........
How special it was to hike with his grand children to the top of a mountain

"The couple"

On the way down
Let me say...........
It was a breeze compared to going up!!!!!!!!!!!!!

'The boy'
Running

Looking for gold

Lots and lots of rocks and boulders along the path

Ah..............
The reward
Back at the park
Everyone met us for
Lunch
A swim
and
HOT TUB

I see you Thomas
Do you see me?????

A Father and his daughter
