GOING BACK AS FAR AS MARCH 22ND

I have been given a nudge to do a blog
So.....here goes!!!!

It is Graham's birthday
His Dad is the chef!
Graham asked for Stromboli
which is also a favourite of Beau

Lyndsay's Mom came down for the afternoon
A gathering in the kitchen

Now the chef is making dessert

Happy Birthday to you!!!

Sweets for the sweet boy!!!!!!!!

Compliments of Nana

The two O'Rourke men working in the vineyard
Gathering odds and ends for a bonfire

Soon the pool will be ready for water

Wouldn't be a blog without my kitties
They love to snuggle

Ethan working in the vineyard
Making money for a new hockey stick

Graham was making a wine run to Vancouver and Whistler so I tagged along for the ride
He dropped me off at Jennifer's where I had a visit for a few days
Got a ride back to Penticton with Jen where we all celebrated Easter
Here you see daffodils along the highway

I had a day with the pugs while Jen was at work
We kept each other company

Birthday dinner for Graham at Ted and Marla's  home at Whistler

Marla busy cleaning up after a delicious dinner!!!!

Graham's friend Les melting chocolate for dessert

We had the best time
Such good friends
Les, Mark, Jen, Ted, the Mom and the birthday boy

Now the fun begins with the new pavement

Note Garen's face!!

One sunny afternoon I took a walk along the
KVR trail
Spring is in the air

The winery

Ethan was playing spring hockey at a tournament in Osoyoos
Beau's old stomping grounds

WOW
The hockey boy is growing up!!!!!!!

First tournament where the boys were allowed to hit

On to rugby
Graham is coaching Ethan's school team

Go get-em boys

Ethan's friend Sam with the ball

Rough and tumble
I remember days gone by when Graham played rugby

Unfortunately I dropped my camera a few weeks ago
The strap got caught causing the camera to land lens first on the floor
The lens flew off the camera
YIKES
I am waiting for the lens to be repaired
Soon I will be back in business
Until then...........

  1. Once again Dianne the photos and blog are superb !! I never tire of it ! Tightrope is looking like a vacationer's or tourist's must see winery. The grounds are so breathtakingly beautiful, the inside of the store / tasting area very fung shei ( spelling) inviting expanse anyways ! The only thing missing = Gwennie. All my love & hugs, please share with Gwennie ! x0x0x0x0x0

  2. Looks like things are really shaping up at the winery. It is such a beautiful spot. The wine tasting room looks great. I love the tight rope walker logo.

Joe has kept himself busy. What beautiful work.

Have been home almost two weeks now. Weather is cold. Bill is not liking this.

    Great blog. Keep in touch,

    Janet
