There's lots going on......
Thursday afternoon Papa Garen and Granny went
to Ethan O's friend Ethan G's grandparents home to pick apples
Papa is going to make apple jelly next
Garen is trying his hardest to jump up and get an apple from the tree
What did I see hanging between two apple trees?
Ethan O and Ethan G's hockey team jerseys
Grandma and Grandpa G are in charge of washing the jerseys
Around the corner was a hockey bag
Funny
It doesn't matter if the bag belongs to an 18 year old ......'the boy'
or
A 10 year old ...........'the young boy'

I met Graham at the pool
I stayed with Garen
Graham dropped Ethan's freshy sharpened skates off at the rink which is right beside the pool
Do you think Garen can see out of his goggles????
His little swimming mates all took turns coming down the slide
They did their strokes
and
Bobbed for trinkets which the instructor
put on the bottom of the pool
Happy to say
the children all passed their test

YESTERDAY MORNING THE CLEANING LADY ARRIVED
Joe Di and Gwennie hopped in the truck
and
headed for the hills........
From the truck I saw this sweet face
Climbed out of the truck
Up the hill I went
on
Grayback Mountain Road
Sadly we came across this home where there had been a fire
Can you imagine???
Horrible
I remembered from another time that there were horses on
Spellar Road
Sure enough when I got out of the truck
They all came up to the fence
After they said hello they headed over to the forest area
I wonder if next time I can bring them an apple??

The scenery is totally different up in the hills
Came down the hill past the dump

In the blog a few days ago I had said this was a white tail deer
It is a mule deer
I went back to the orchard to find the deer

Graham came home with 1/2 a cake
His co-workers at Mission Hill finished off the other half
The other half showed
'a fishing pole'
His work at Mission Hill has come to an end

I picked Ethan up after school yesterday
We were on a mission
