THIS, THAT AND THE OTHER THING OVER THE PAST FEW DAYS

I have posted a few photos of 'thousand footers' on my blog
This freighter was going particularily slow
It must be heading to the
Shell dock for fuel

It is amazing how the freighter can pull
the water out from shore
We would take advantage of the suction
and go out and check for pieces of glass
in the sand
Now-a-days one can find few pieces
as most bottles have been exchanged
for cans

Wednesday was a beautiful, sunny, warm day
First time out to work in the gardens

This is an interesting ship
don't believe we have seen it on the water before

Bing is at the screen door
Sorry, you canot come out!

Gwendolyn and Bing chose their place to sleep
The camera lady thought it would be a good idea to 'set'
Bing closer to Gwendolyn

........like near her tummy
(great photo I thought)

Wrong..........

Grrrrrrrrrrrr

So........I gently put Bing back down where she had been
and
they both went back to sleep
as if nothing had changed

I happened to look out at the river and saw this
magnificent sail boat going down river

Gee, it's a good thing my camera is always ready to go!!!!!

Breakfast this morning
Bing is getting a little close
He even managed to get a quick taste

On our way to the mainland this morning
we spotted 5 white swans

Here is Bing curled up on the van floor
........same spot where Elliot would sleep

We took Bing with us this morning as we
thought we should start taking him in
the boat
and
the van
"Getting him ready for the big fall trip"

Bing was very vocal in the beginning
but as you can see
he settled down

Back home safe and sound with his favourite blanket

Photos of photos

I just framed two
photos of Elliot
one of which will hang on a wall with
WeiQuay

This photo hung in our bathroom at 239 N College Ave.

Elliot

Blue eyes

I will leave the caption up to you
I did not set this up!!!!!!!

The carpenter is hard at work once again
He is building our king size bed in
with 3 drawers underneath the bed

Even though St. Francis has been glued back together
many times He is doing a good job of watching
over the birds

It's nice to see my garden 'opening up'
