LEROY O'ROURKE

LEROY

JANUARY 1998 - DECEMBER 2011

I will tell your Leroy's story through my eyes

Meet Leroy
I'll quote Lyndsay
"The best dog ever"

April 2004
Summerland BC

Being a water dog Leroy was one happy fellow when he got to play in the water and to have a stick was icing on the cake!

Am I handsome???
YES
I'm handsome

Here's Nana with a houseful of dogs
Seventh heaven as far as I'm concerned

2007
Bench on the hill
A dream was to come true for the O'Rourke family
Their home now sits on the hill

Leroy is right in there!

Out in the vineyard

Down to the lake we go
Looks like Alice is putting in her two cents
She is doing what pugs do best
Wo Wo Wo

You could always find Leroy out in the vineyard
when the grapes were being picked
He wanted in on all the action

One
Two
Three

A favourite place to hang out

Time for a rest

Gather all children
Gather all dogs

One in one out
Two out

Kisses

Leroy sure liked Bing
Bing being Bing would make Leroy's day!!!!!!!

Gwendolyn and Leroy checking out the day

October 2011

At the end of the day
Leroy
A faithful companion

Each season when we arrived at the farm Leroy would be right there to greet us with his prancing and tail wagging

Will miss you Buddy

  1. Oh what a beautiful dog. He reminds me of our black Lab. Sam. So docile and so loving. As my Mum aged, Sam was more protective of her. Would just follow her around with his eyes to make sure she was ok. So caring. I could take Leroy home with me.

  5. So sad, we lost one of our pack yesterday. I think he was the pack leader of our family of 7 dogs. In my 'winning the lottery' dream world,I would have our family all on the vinyard together and our pack would roam the grapes all together. Wouldn't graham love that? Am feeling very sad about this loss. jen
