OH CANADA OUR HOME AND NATIVE LAND

Monday morning we were up early and eager to get on the road
This is the view from our hotel

Gwennie out for a bit of fresh air before
heading to the truck
She sleeps the day away while traveling
She continues to have good days
and not so good days
Last night and tonight she ate  some of her dinner
HURRAH
YIPEE
Some days it is very difficult to get food into her
She turns her head and walks away

The terrain is changing once again

Crossing the river into Washington State

Check out the side of the road
Can you imagine all that snow!
Check out how small the car looks on the road ahead

Seattle

Getting closer

CANADA HERE WE COME

Sailed right through customs
We never know if they are going to give us a hard time or not????

Driving down Boundry Road in Burnaby
We spotted the hotel where my Mom stayed when we brought her out to see Jennifer in 1997

We are now about to drive the sea to sky highway
heading to Squamish

OH CANADA

********

We are safe and sound with our daughter

We had a lazy day today

All had afternoon naps!

  1. You are back...almost. I changes in geography must be amazing to see. I loved the photograph with what looked like heather or lavender. You must be excited to be staying with the grandchildren and being Mom and Dad for a few weeks.

  2. Gwennie for all her trials and tribulations does look wonderful :) I've missed her ! I cannot get over that amount of snow, here in Sarnia it's already 14c at 7:45 am ! Weird. I'm grateful you all had a safe and uneventful trip back to Canada !

  3. So glad to hear you arrived safe and sound.

Always nice to get to your destination and all being well.

    Lovely shots.

We are off to visit downtown Ft. Myers. Have been over to Sanibel Island. Rented bikes and loved touring the island. Could not ride our bikes on the beach...only disappointment.
Enjoy Jennifer....so good to know you are almost home.
