A DAY HERE A DAY THERE
I thought I would choose a few photos from folders and put them all together for this evening's blog
On a Monday morning while riding our bikes home after the hiking meeting we could see a hot air balloon in the park next door
It was an emergency landing we were told
They were trying to get across the highway to the golf course but as you can see they did not make it
A truck came into the park and picked them up!
The end of a day in Gold Canyon
The heating blanket
A beautiful yellow sky
Our Windsor friends arrived for a week's stay here at Gold Canyon
We took them to the Heard Museum to see the hoop dancing competition
Having a bit of fun on the way to our truck
We had to 'put on' the long skirts and scarves to tour the Greek Monestary
The grounds are breathtakingly beautiful
As well as the inside of the many chapels
The ever changing sky
We took Donna Mae and Sue to Cosanti's in Scottsdale where we met Donna's friend Peggy
The girls would be staying with Peggy and Tony for the second week of their holiday
Cuddling with Stephanie and Madeline
Mardi Gras parade at the park
You can't see her other foot...she has a cowgirl boot on and a white high top laced boot on the other!
We were off to a hockey game
Went to see the LA Kings play the Coyotes
# 8.... Drew Doughty
Beau's favourite defenseman
We took a day trip to the Biosphere in Tucsan
A very interesting place!
and next
I only lasted a few minutes underground
Ken and Devonna in front of
Mission San Xavier del Bac.
It is called the White Dove of the Desert
The church was built between 1783 and 1797
Carved top of the pews
Driving home from Tucsan
Zoe at a lacrosse tournament
These guys fly around 'our backyard' on Sundays
Another game
Under the lights on Wednesday evening
The girls played during the wind storm
Zoe was on fire
3 goals 3 assists!
I am now caught up with photos
I can start up again with blog stories
We leave for British Columbia
On
St. Patrick's Day
on the road again
Oh my goodness, that picture of the 3 of you girls with the scarves and skirts cracked me up! And love the one of you guys with the statues, too cute. The Pews photo is soooo cool, what a great card that one would be!

SB: Those are the same photos that caught my eye and comments! How funny!
ReplyDeleteYes, isn't the trip to the monastery wonderful, but the attire something to be desired??? Luckily the photo of my attire did not turn out and will not be seen by anyone!
I have been to the White Dove several times and did not notice the pews. I will have to go back!
The Missile Museum is on our list of "to do". I did not know you were claustrophobic, Dianne!
And I loved all the sunset photos. I have been checking your blog every day for a new post. Don't make me wait so long next time!
I for one cannot wait to see you back in our area ! Seems like a very long time.....The pictures are incredible and I recognized Cosanti. The sunsets are amazing in Arizona for sure. I love the Mardi Gras photos :) As you travel may safety be on your side and I soooo look forward to my personal hot water blanket > Gwennie <3
