THE DAY THE EDMONTONIANS CAME TO TOWN

Our nephew Dan and his wife Louise
are travelling for a month
They are staying on the island for a few days

LUCKY US

Last evening we had our cofffee and dessert
out on the dock
Enjoyed the boat traffic
and
a wonderful soft breeze

We are flying the Alberta flag

When our son Graham was home in June
we flew the 'British Columbia' flag
however
it was the Alberta flag

Did anyone pick up on that?

We didn't until we went to get the Alberta flag
and figured it out then!!!!

GEE WHIZ

We'll have the Alberta flag flying again
the end of August when our son Curtis comes home for a  visit

Homeland security was flying overhead

Joe took this shot early this morning
Quite the display of red and white!!!

Joe made us breakfast this morning
We had poached eggs with
peameal bacon
cherry bread..... toasted
mango and greek cheese
 mango/strawberries/grapes
and
figs

AFTER BREAKFAST WE HAD FAMILY OVER TO VISIT WITH THE EDMONTONIONS

Our niece Susan
her niece Jessica

Not sure what is happening here
Is
 Susan thinking?
Carole listening?
Jennifer concentrating?

Pat is grinning

Dorothy is smiling

We were explaining to Carole today
who is who

The first child was Joanne
She was the mother of Susan
the mother-in-law of Jennifer
the grandmother of Jessica
the husband of Jeff

the second child was Marion
She was the mother of Dan
