BIG DAY AT RUBY BLUES

It's bottling time at Ruby Blues Vineyard

Guess who's there to help
on day two?
You got it
My Man!!!!!!!!

There he is
During the day they bottled
1600 cases of wine
Joe lifted close to 10,000 bottles
into cases

Here is the back of the truck trailer
(the bottling truck)

Before they started bottling
they had a little sip

I slipped inside for a few minutes
This is Lyndsay's office
She's the vitner
The 'maker' of the wine

You can see skids
and

 Vats

The winery was called
RUBY TUESDAY
However
the name had to be changed as it was
already being used by
RUBY TUESDAY
the restaurant

New Ruby Blues labels

BACK OUTSIDE I WENT

I'm about to have a tour

Nitrogen is sprayed into  the bottles
to clean them

The bottles are being filled

Corked

Labels are on

Away they go to be put in the cases

The bottling truck was at the winery for three days
The truck travels
from winery to winery

Peeking out from his work spot
Joe 'bottled' cases for eight hours
Was he tired???
He was tired!!!
He said to me
'It was like doing
upper body exercise
for eight hours'

Here's the girl!!
