FROM LAST SATURDAY TO THIS SATURDAY

We have been in Penticton
for a week now
Have been around and about

Joe has a new pressure washer
He was cleaning out the bird 'poop'
Did a good job

We had dinner at Lyndsay's
Mom's home
This is her dog
Nanuq

He comes from the
North West Territories

Look at those eyes!!!!

A new pair of 'frog' boots

Early one morning I was going to get
my hair cut and came across this
fellow pulling a canoe which sat  upon a wagon
Wonder what the story
is here?

Spring is coming to Penticton

Jen and I went for breakfast
at the Canary
Interesting unique art work
 on the wall
You could take a favourtie tie and frame it
I think we would choose Joe's wedding tie
He always wore the same
sunflower tie
to every wedding!!!!!!

We came across a saddle shop
Interesting
I peeked in the windows and saw
a wall full of 'cut out' forms
You could order your very own saddle

One afternoon Granny Aunt Jen
and the young boy along with four of the dogs
went for a walk around the vineyard

We were discussing erosion

Kisses on the nose and a drink of water!!!!!

After our walk we sat outside
Had lemonade and took in the view
It was beautiful
great company and the warm sun
was inviting
Then
in an instant the weather changed
It was good while it lasted

Up next
The birthday boy's dinner
His sister asked what he would like
He chose deer steaks
Must say
this girl did not eat the steak
I opted for fish

The little boy is into the icing
He knows what's good!!

One morning Joe, Jen and I went for breakfast
Joe says this is the
BEST
breakfast he has ever had

We went to the Bench
a wonderful place for breakfast or lunch
and
they serve great coffee
You can tell we are in
wine country
with all the barrels

It wouldn't be complete without
going to Art Knapp Nursery

I came into our bedroom and there were
five dogs and two cats
What the heck
Ask me if I was in my glory
ha-ha
Ask Joe if he was in his glory
even a bigger
HA-HA

Check out this hockey bag
It looks high tech to me
What ever happened to the duffle bag
a hockey player would sling over his shoulder????
I wonder is this one will be smelly some day
like his cousin the boy's bag??????
I have been told by the boy
THAT'S A GREAT SMELL

We have been to Kelowna twice for hockey
One practice and one game
Sunday we are off to Kamloops
for two games

Jen came down from Whistler to celebrate
her brother's birthday
Heading home in Red Ruby

Work is never done on the vineyard
Joe is working out in the field
and
the rest of us are going
for a walk down to the lake

It looks like snow but is actually salt
coming up from the soil

You can really see the erosion here

We're on our way down to the beach
This is the
'Nude Beach"
Yup it is!!!!!!!!!!!

It looks like
ZOBO
(my car)

It looks like the dogs are making
a whirl pool

There goes a rock
Good throw little boy

The young boy is jumping
from rock to rock

The boys were having
a grand time!

On our way home

Found Sweet Pea in her chair
soaking up the afternoon sun

When leaving the beach
Gwendolyn did a 'roll'
on something horrible
She joined Joe in the shower

Evening is coming

Another good day

  4. You and the family have so many great days Dianne. Your days are fun: walking with boys and family, discovering salt, wonderful coffee houses and more and more dogs and cats. I love the picture of the zoo in your room with Jen. Stay well. We have snow, snow, snow and minus temperatures. The weather man says warm weather will arrive in April. Hip, hip hooray!
