EXCHANGING HOCKEY SKATES FOR LACROSSE CLEATS

Yesterday we took a trip to
Tucson to watch
The Boy
and
his teammates play lacrosse

I don't know much about
the game
BUT
do know
It is fast furious
and
brutal!!!!

The games were played at a middle school
Only drawback
NO WASHROOMS
YIKES
HOWEVER
We did have a beautiful breathtaking view
of the mountains

The boys did a run around the field
as they started their warm up

The boy ran right past us
Did he  acknowledge that we were there
NOPE!!!
Did I think he would?
NOPE!!!

A field filled with boy's back sides

Here comes # 25

Being the camera lady
I was thrilled with this shot

He's down

He's coming back up

Now it's the opponent's turn

Now it is on to the Varsity game
Here he is checking out his helmet
The boy played in the Jr. Varsity game first
Since he missed out on many practices due
to hockey his coach is whipping
him into shape
stating
"He is a bit rusty"
AND
According to his Dad
"He has to pay his dues"

Waiting his turn

He's coming through

He may have the 'Fisher' eyes
but man
is he looking like his Dad

You may ask
Is that a good thing?
YA

Here is his friend doing his thing at the net

Another friend
Check out those leg muscles!!

Whoa

Another friend...he's on the ground
Believe it or not he scored
You can see the ball in the net
Way to go!!!!

The team salutes the fans
WOW

The smile

LIFE IS SOOO GOOD

  1. Grand-ma I must tell you the boy in that last shot is looking very much a man !! A tired and
contented young man ! I remarked how muscled their legs were as well !! lol. I love seeing youth so very active :o) Great pictures Dianne and I love the story telling that follows them.
