Another week has gone by......
Nicest thing is.......
Joe is home
Joe is home
Ethan is putting his green runners on to go with his 'hockey get-up'
Dad said he had to change shoes
Needed sturdy runners to run around the arena before the first game
Papa found a clip on tie for Ethan
Easier to get on and off when changing into his hockey gear
In a second he is going down
Off came the glove
Take a look at the stick of the Kamloops player
Down he went
Hit his head
No call from the ref
The boys played in a tournament
They played 4 games
Won 3 lost 1
Tied for 2nd with 3 other teams
Got knocked out of the playoff games
as
They had the most penalty minutes of the 4 teams
GOOD LESSON BOYS
Here comes the plane
Stephanie asked her Dad what he wanted to eat
after he was finished with
'his diet'
A hamburger loaded
from
FIVE GUYS
I think I have said this before
'The boy' introduced us to
FIVE GUYS
in
Arizona
Monday morning we had pink clouds
Monday was also picking day
Pinot Noir
A first haul of grapes for the new truck
It was good to see Joe outside
The weather has changed
It was bloody cold walking down the drive yesterday morning
Wednesday
Picking day
Riesling
Nikki came down from Pemberton
Her friend Jane came from Squamish
This is a first for Jane
She was well prepared
Of course Rosco came too!
Linda had two jobs
Picking grapes
and
Throwing the ball for Hunter
It's the change in the weather that makes the grape leaves take on the different colours
Just like trees!
Fifteen bins went off to Ruby Blues
for
Future Tight Rope wine
Smile for the camera!!!!!
Papa getting the pizza ready for the oven
Garen made his pizza
Pesto sauce
Cheese
Pepperoni
It never fails
Whenever I get the laundry out of the dryer
Bing is right there
Whenever I change the bed
Bing is right there
Scurrying under the sheets
How does he know?????
Had a phone call from Daycare this morning
Garen was a bit under the weather
Here he is helping me fold laundry
I got out the vacuum
Garen took over!
Doesn't look like he is under the weather
Maybe he just needed a quiet day
The sun is trying to come out
Dig those 'duds'
Nikki was saying there was a photo she and Les liked of Rosco
Rosco was shaking a paw
So...........
We decided to see if we could capture something similar to the old photo
I took at least 30 pictures
Out the back
In the house
Out front
Love this one of the paw on the hand
Nikki has a treat in her hand
I'm sure you can guess that by the look of Rosco
I think I like this one the best!
The girls taking a breather
They were helping Graham bring in the nets this morning
The Dad and the son soaking up a bit of the sun
We have had rain for a few days now
The warmth of the sun feels good
Everyone was outside!
I made venison stew for supper
Joe took the girls to the Giroux orchard to pick apples
He came home with a varitey of fruit
Made up this 'still life' for me to take a photo
Nikki and Jane are in charge of making a salad
There's everything in there but the kitchen sink
Voila
A NICE DAY
DONE FOR TODAY

Where's Lyndsay??? Has she been kidnapped poor girl. The pictures are gorgeous, love seeing all the fall colors. Rosco is totally cool looking too. I liked the one of him inside. SB
