THE VISIT CONTINUES

Tuesday morning we swung by Stephanie's home

The girls had a tour then off we went to

Chandler Mall for lunch

Once a week Stephanie and I 'visit'

The Wild Flower

then

head down to

See's Candy shop

We thought the girls would like to see where we

hang out each Thursday

Donna Mae requested we take her

to her favourite store

She is in the

Hallmark Card Store

YUP

She is the

 'queen of cards'

We along with our children and grandchildren

 receive a card on birthdays

We even get anniversary cards, Easter cards, Valentines cards

You name it

We get it!!!!

Our friend Mugan is being married in June

She is marrying Casey

The girls (5 of us)

into our wardrobe for the wedding

After arriving home we turned around and jumped

back in the van

We took the girls to

Organ Stop Pizza

MUSIC MUSIC MUSIC

and

good pizza

The gentleman playing the organ

is multi talented

Incredible actually

A funny story here...

Sue was in line to order her food

One fellow backed up towards her

She backed up and ran into the fellow behind her

The man in orange is Canadian and from Alberta

The other man is a bus driver from the Chatham area

driving a busload of folks from Windsor Ontario

where Sue lives

Sure enough

There's the BADDER bus

Donna Mae spotted a lady from her parish

Went up to her

WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?

The lady said

WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?

Small world eh!

We had a quick bite to eat

then home we went in time

for Joe and I to play euchre

and Sue bridge

A busy day

Donna Mae had come down with a cold

so Sue decided to bunk down in the living room

on an air mattress

We kept our bedroom door closed keeping

the two cats and dog with us

First thing in the morning

Sue had Bing and Gwendolyn trying to get

under the covers

SUE YOU HAVE COME A LONG WAY GIRL

Joe took Sue out in the desert behind our home

She was very interested in everything

about the desert

We saved the best till last

We had breakfast at the Gold Canyon Golf Club

They have the best breakfast ever....

Since this was the girl's last day with us

they decided to do a quick wash

None of us had much laundry so we all threw

some things into the washer for a dark load

The laundry was folded

Donna Mae was missing a pair of black panties

We all went through our pieces of clothing

I even cheked Joe's drawer thinking it

may have been put in the wrong pile

Nope

We could not find it

How could that be?

I handed Donna Mae a few pieces of my laundry

Are these yours?  Are these yours?

No........... No

Now we had the case of the missing panties

I SOLVED THE MYSTRY

Upon returning from the washroom at the golf club

I told them I knew where the panties were

I HAD THEM ON

OH MY

THE FOUR OF US LAUGHED AND LAUGHED

and

I must say

They were very comfortable too

OH MY GOSH

How come I did not notice?????

Thursday afternoon we took Sue to Silly Mountain

This is a first for me to see horses on

a Silly Mountain hike

Superstition Mountain in the background

Joe has hiked the mountain which is referred to as the Flat Iron 8 to 10 times

I have hiked it once

Thursday evening has arrived

We are now in Scottsdale

Donna Mae and Sue will stay with Peggy and Tony

for a week

Donna Mae and Peggy went to high school together

 The Pines in Chatham

 They became Ursuline Nuns

and later decided otherwise

I soon have to say so long to my dear dear friends

We were sitting out on the back patio

This dove was all by himself

just looking at us!

Enjoying the company

The sun was going down

The moon was coming up

I was told this only happens twice a year

Sue and Peggy working in the kitchen

Home made pasta for dinner

Tony getting the salad ready

Home made dressing

YUM

Nice way to end the story

I have seen this silly smile a million times!!
