JOIN US FOR A SUNDAY ADVENTURE

This morning the alarm went off at 6:15

By 7:30 we were at the Hot-Air Balloon Festival
in Gilbert

A huge powerful fan is blowing air into the balloon

The burners have been turned on

The 'basket' is about to go upright!

All aboard

They're air bound

Now this one is crazy!

Check out the clear blue sky

The US of A

Leaving the park
On to find a place for breakfast

We were driving down Gilbert Street when we spotted a gal waving a sign that said
Come for breakfast
We turned the truck around and pulled into the driveway
We could not see a restaurant???
It was tucked in amongst other stores
It was called
The Groves
Bar and Grill
If it hadn't been for the girl and her sign we would not have known it existed
Good advertising

We had a good breakfast
Good but maybe not healthy for me
French toast with lots of syrup!!!
Afterward I said to Joe
I've had my fill of french toast
Too much syrup!!!!!!!
Back to healthy

Next stop
St. Mary's Basilica
Downtown Phoenix

This morning a violinist accompanied the organist
and
The choir sang beautifully
Must say............
It warmed the heart

Do you notice the Reverend's nose?
Joe thinks people touch the nose
and
wonders if there is meaning to this?????

My favourite
St. Francis
Someone has put a few pennies in his hand

Circle of Peace

There goes the blue truck

Next stop............
36th Annual Pueblo
Grande Museum
Auxiliary Indian Market

Joe called me over to see some birds
This gal is having her lunch

HOLY COW
NO
HOLY BIRD

We are being entertained

The bird dropped the dollar bill in the vase

Enjoying a nut

Checking feathers

I have a visitor on my shoulder

OK OK
This is not good!!!!!!!!
Joe.....come and get the bird!

We enjoyed our time at the Market
Did a bit of Christmas shopping

Last stop.......
The Browning home to catch the second and third period of Beau's hockey game via the computer
I am going to 'toot my horn'
The boy got his first goal of the season
If we had arrived about 3 minutes earlier
we would have witnessed the goal!!!!!

YEAH BEAU
