Ethan's hockey team were playing at Edge over the weekend
We were lucky enough to catch the games on our way through to Penticton




Worked our way back to Edge from downtown Calgary
Took the back roads
You never know what you are going to see!

Sunday morning drive to Penticton


We were fortunate to see the Rocky Mountaineer
roll by
What a beautiful sight!!!!!


This guy started out to cross the highway then changed his mind


Trying to work our way back to Tim Horton's in the town of Sicamouse

Each time we visit with Jennifer we make a trip up to Whistler to
Southside Diner
for breakfast
Have a little visit with Les and Nikki
Alwasy soooo good to see them!
Above the diner is a hostel
I can see a person looking out the window!

Jennifer is moving to Whistler the beginning of December
Her new place is at the Olympic Village
Oh Happy Day!!!!

While looking for 'something' Jennifer came across her sweater
 and hat that my friend Kathy had knitted for her when she was 3 years old
I always loved her sweater

Thursday afternoon Graham and I went for a ride up the mountain
We were looking for great horned sheep and deer
A photo opportunity
We passed a few logging trucks
and
As you can see some of the land has been cleared




We came upon the Ellis Reservoir
This is the big wheel that controls the water flow down to Penticton


Down down it goes to the canal in Penticton


Shooting practice up in the mountain

which is taking place this weekend

We are up at the big house for the week while Graham and Lyndsay are at Whistler

One week tomorrow we head out to Arizona

Miss Gypsy is calling our name!!!
