Wanting to Watch TV

Ah...........the remote

Man's best friend

My worst enemy

This one particular day

I wanted to watch TV

With knitting in hand

I sat myself down

and

picked up the remote

I pushed every button

possible

No such luck

No TV for this girl

I longed for the day

way back when

I

 could turn the

TV on by

PUSHING A BUTTON

The following day

I was sitting in the same room

on the same sofa

The TV was not on

My two year old grandson

pranced into the room,

 strolled past the TV

and

PUSHED A BUTTON

The TV

instantly came on!!!!!!

I

LOL

(laughed out loud)

Oh brother!!!!!!!!!!!

A glass of cold milk

An oreo cookie

The cookie was in his hand

Immediately

the cookie came apart

How does a two year old

- a few even have freckles

- blue eyes and brown eyes

- one blue eye, one brown eye

TRUE STORY

The caller said...........

There is a car

on the road

 being driven by a

DOG

When the police officer approached the car

he was greeted by

 a lady

and

her dog

sitting

side by side

While laughing

he suggested

the dog sit in the back seat

rather than

on the console

Today..........

While doing errands

a lady

takes her 'companions' with her

See where the dog is sitting?

She used to sit in the front seat

ON THE CONSOLE

The big girl likes to hang out the window

Hey camera lady

What are you up to?

The next stop

SNIFF, SNIFF

I can smell her

She can't be far

Where did she go?

This way?

OR

That way?

The camera lady found her!

THE SHACK

Glan Llyn Estate Vineyard

When the farm was first purchased it was

an apple orchard

This is the story of

THE SHACK

as it stands today

The little shack is tucked in near

 the old farm house

There is one gigantic cherry tree

that shades the little green house in the summer time

As I strolled down the hill I noticed

these pretty yellow flowers!!!!!!!

Spring has definitely arrived

The gardener's rose bush

Leaves are sprouting

The summer bath tub

When the gardener lived in the shack

she would come home from work

don her bathing suit

hop in

and soak in the warmth of the sun

As I continued my walk around the shack

I spotted the picker's ladder

How many apples have been picked by

the picker?????

Here is the charming kitchen window

 Built by the gardener's Father

The bench was made with poles

salvaged from the apple orchard

Must say....it weighs a ton!

Wooden pieces of wood have been

nailed to the side of the shack

to cover up holes

drilled by

woodpeckers

The  gardener happens to be

an artist

She had fun with paint and brush

We are now inside the shack

the gardener's hat has been left behind

I see a shelf leaning against the wall

Built by her Grandfather

This was her stove

The 'ONE' and only sink

All in all, this was the kitchen!

The buds of the cherry tree

A sweet little home

One day I will tell the story

A Day At Glan Llyn Estate Vineyard

This is what I saw first thing this morning

when I looked out at the lake

It seems this is his favourite spot

Here is a felllow who spends between 5 and 6 hours

a day doing what you see here

Rain or shine

Cold or warm

Wind or no wind

This is a grape vine

FJ (farmer joe) bends the vine.............

FJ takes a tying gun

squeezes the gun

VOILA

This is the end result

Each spring this procedure will

take place

 Training the vine

There are 152 rows in the vineyard

13,000 vines

give or take........a few

Each row has a story

There are 7 different kinds of grapes

Riesling, Merlot, Pinot Gris

Pinot Noir and Viognier

to mention a few

It's mostly Greek to me

I know Merlot

FJ is not alone

Leroy stays for a bit

then  heads for the house

remains with her master

Ol' brown eyes is now 12 years old

Meanwhile bean soup is cooking in the big house

A flower has popped out

I found our cats Elliot and Susie

under the duvet

They live in the bedroom............

as they are traumatized by the 'Queen B'
