IT'S ALL ABOUT THE GIRL

From December 28th until January 4th  we granddaughter and granddog
'sat'
It was a busy week

One afternoon we took the Metro and got off near the universtiy
We walked through the campus which was very interesting
Here is a photo of ASU Gammage and Kerr Cultural Centre where we saw
STOMP

We had awesome seats
Second row balcony
Centre stage
I would have loved to have taken photos
during the show
however
no photos permitted which makes sense

A Father and daughter walking in front of us
The little girl was
 'Chatty Cathy'
check out Dad's running shoes!!!!!!

This was something new for me to see
An Arizona squirrel????
What do you think?
It had a very bushy tail!

We're back on the Metro heading home

It's Saturday morning and we're off
to a lacrosse game
NOTE:
 the colourful fuchsia socks

I think there were at least five girls sporting
FUCHSIA LACROSSE SOCKS

Here she comes
She has the ball

It's Wednesday
Hike Day
I'm sure many of you have seen the
 PHOENIX
sign from afar
We are on our way to Bull Dog Canyon

Catching up time for the hikers
A couple of hikers stood in the shade of the tree
Ha...... not a lot of shade!!!!!

PURE CANADIAN
That's what she is

When Zoe put the ball cap on
I was taken back
seven years
I could see a young girl's face

Funny what comes to mind
It was the look that I remembered!!!!!

Here you can see Three of the Four Peaks in the distance

This was a different kind of hike as the group was split into two groups
One went to the south end and the other the north
We met in the middle and exchanged keys to the cars/trucks
As you can see here we are walking along a sand trail which gave us a good workout
Half the trail was sand and the other dirt

The night before Stephanie and Rod came home I put Moby and Madeline outside one last time before bed
Oh boy
In came Moby soaking wet and filthy dirty
He went out as a white dog
Came back in as a brown dog
The sprinkler system came on
Moby attacked the sprinkler head
Was he in trouble or what??????
He knew he was in trouble!!!!!!
I said to him
'Don't even think about climbing into bed'
HE KNEW

The parents are home from Penticton BC
Check out the Coyotes hoodie
'Osoyoos Hockey Club'

Ah......look what I got
The boy's hockey card
Beau... the Captain ... and goalie signed cards at MacDonald's for the local youngsters
in Osoyoos

This is pretty cool I think!!!!!!!

  1. Once again, Dianne, FABULOUS photos and stories. Your family is so lucky to have you recording their lives! I feel like I'm part of your activities seeing your photos and reading your stories! Interesting enough, just took a similar photo of the Gammage Theater at ASU. Howard told me about the theater, and we are going to see South Pacific on Sunday afternoon.

Loved the pictures of her playing Lacross. Must ask my grandaughter, Mikayla (who loves Lacrosse) if she is interested in those Socks. They look fabulous. What a great day for her and for all of you.
    Hiking looked fabulous!!! Very jealous!!!
