ARIZONA HERE WE COME

We're on the road again
Penticton to Whistler
Whister to Arizona

Before leaving Penticton
Joe planted two rose bushes
in the vineyard

A gift from Ken to Graham and Lyndsay

Like canaries in a mine shaft

Roses are planted at the end of the rows
If the bush 'goes bad'
They watch for the vines to' go bad'

We are on our way
Beautiful day for a drive
The sun is out
The clouds are magnificent

We're coming up to
'the Bench'
Each day when I went to town I would stop by the Bench
for a decaf coffee
It was my treat for the day
'Backyard beans'
Peruvian Decaf
Certified Organic Coffee
The beans are roasted in Summerland BC

I brought 3 bags of beans with me
to Arizona

Am I addicted???

We drove over the connector
on our way to Meritt
Snow had 'visited' the area

The countryside is changing

We've arrived in Whistler

Here's Angus who just had
a birthday November 3rd.
He is 15 years old!!

Gee Angus could have
been in on all the fun
of the November
birthday parties!!!!!

Gwendolyn is slipping
in between
the chair and footstool
It doesn't seem to bother her

We're crossing the border
going from British Columbia
to Washington State

We decided to go over to Highway # 1
and drive along
the Oregon Trail

Gwendolyn on her way to the ocean

Salt water does not taste good at all!
It will not clench the thirst

On the beach!!!!!!!!!

After getting back in the van
we drove out to the pier to
turn around
and
spotted this cute litte restaurant

Juice and iced tea
hit the spot
along with......

Fish and chips
It sure hit the spot
Fish......red snapper

We spotted the windmill in California
We took the photo
for Casey

Driving along highway # 5
We along with many trucks
worked our way up the slow grade highway
This truck difinitely had a problem

The dogs taking up the back seats

After travelling for four days
we reached our destination
We were treated to a
wonderous sunset

We are home!

  1. OMG !!!! I'm in heaven, lots of pictures of precious Gwennie !!! Love it thank you :o). Sure has made my morning. The scenery may be changing and it's still breathtaking. You do find the most ecclectic shops, restaurants and watering holes. I'd love to be your travel companion :o). Especially soon as it starts to get colder, snowy...and your basking in warmth and sunshine and have Gwendolyn !! lol I'm grateful you all made a safe journey !!
