A WALK AROUND MORAINE LAKE

Last weekend many family members
gathered to celebrate the life of
Joe's sister

Friday evening some of us
had dinner at
The Post

Saturday morning most of us
had breakfast at
Deer Lodge

Saturday afternoon
we all met at
Moraine Lake

Early Saturday morning at
Lake Louise

The 'famous' red canoes

Many phototgaphers were out to get
their best shot

It's around 7:15 a.m.
The staff of the hotel are working
on the 'wedding' tent

The sun is up and over the mountains

We are now at Moraine Lake
There are soooo many people
and
soooo many cars
We stood in between two cars
along the side of the road
and held a spot
for the red VW

The parking lot is way
way up there

It seems each lake has its own set
of canoes

Walking along the trail

The lake is the most beautiful
shade of blue

Checking out a huge rock at the
end of the lake

Our destination

Everyone has a turn

Interesting driftwood along the
shore line

Stopping for a photo 'shoot'

Heading across to the other side of the stream

One of our great nieces
and
granddaughter

Taking a 5 minute break

Gwendolyn sticking close

A plaque was set on top
of the rock

The group!

Spectacular view of Moraine Lake

Four of five siblings

Joe standing in for a brother
and four sisters

Five of six grandchildren

Sweet moment

Cousins

Back over the creek they go
Gwendolyn is going the wrong way

She took the easy way
Hopped over the rocks

These folks were having
a heck of a time
It was really windy

Back to the hotel
with an up-date of
the wedding

The wedding has taken place
You should have seen the chairs
Very unique 'see through' plastic

This was a very good day

  3. Great photos. You need to have someone taking your picture. I'm sure Stephanie misses being with everyone. Soon she will see her sister & parents. Janet
