This is a short story
'The boy'
His sister
Her friend
Arrived in Canada yesterday
The boy is here at the cottage
then will spend a few days
in the city with his
'other'
grandparents
The girls will then
come to the island
The boy and his friend
(from the time they were 2)
got together for the afternoon
Out came the kayak
up river they went
The friend got the heavy end!!!!
Walked outside and
WOW
THIS BIG GUY WAS IN THE GARDEN
AND
HOPPED UP ON THE ROCK

IT'S HOT HOT HOT
we're having a heat wave
Joe worked on the shed until about 3 this afternoon
just too darn hot
No snuggling
Just too darn hot
Normally Susie can be found curled up
in between pillows
Not today
Just too darn hot

Maybe written by Cole Porter???
Even the boy is sprawled
LIFE IS GOOD
Wow what wonderful summer adventures your grandchildren and friends are able to experience. The stuff memories are made of. I thought of Gwennie yesterday and had visions of her chilling in the water ! :o)
